I've done a few test timelapses, and noticed that the prevailing majority of Stellaris playthroughs result in 2 or three federations forming then sitting comfortably until the end game crisis - which then either wipes the floor with everyone, or is immediately crushed.

Well, in an attempt to avoid the mid-game stability, this timelapse features four relatively peaceful factions - UNoE, CoM, a Common Ground faction, and an Imperial fiefdom faction. It also features 4 less than peaceful factions - a Determined Exterminator, a Devouring Storm, and multiple fanatic purifiers.
