NieR Replicant is a depressing and deeply engaging action/adventure game with RPG elements that explores a wide variety of themes across its desolate universe, however the themes it seems to explore the most are those of personal identity and how it fits us into the world at large.

But what is it really trying to say with these themes? Is this game really as nihilistic as it appears?

Well... I'll explore that question sometime in the last couple minutes, otherwise, enjoy the review. This will not be an easy game to get through for everybody, but it is worth it!
