In this video I discuss a study looking at the overlap between autism spectrum disorder and anxiety disorders or symptoms, both in occurrence and in expression, over the course of forty reports released from 1990 to 2008. I also go over the diagnostic assumptions which result in the misconception that anxiety predominantly affects autistic people who might be labeled "high functioning" by some clinicians.
