A Swedish dad answers our followers' questions
How do Swedes discipline their children? 👶 What makes a father choose to go on 'daddy leave'? ❤️ This is Özze, Swedish dad and music producer. He answers your questions about parental leave in this episode of 'Ask a Swede'. 🙋
'The best thing is that you get to truly spend time with your children and really get to know them. It's a fun time because that's the time when they start to develop, they start to walk and then start to observe things differently. I don't want to miss that.' Says our dad.
In Sweden parents are entitled to 480 days of paid parental leave per child. When a child has two parents, 90 days are reserved for each parent and the rest of the parental leave days they can share as they see fit.
