This is the original The Witcher game, the Enhanced Edition, to be precise. This is the first game in the Witcher trilogy, made and released by CD Projekt RED in 2007.

The Witcher is a third persona action RPG that tells the story of Geralt of Rivia, who's lost his memories after being (nearly) killed in the war. A witcher is essentially a monster hunter for hire that's undergone a very serious training regime to develop magical abilities and inhuman combat prowess.

I'm very happy to play this game again, and I'm doing it on the hardest difficulty because I feel that's where the game shines the brightest. I'm gonna rely heavily on alchemy and potion brewing for the tough fights in the game, and I'll be making the most interesting choices in the plot, so I'm hoping your gonna have as great a time as myself, if not an even greater time!
