A Template for Sharing the Gospel (Re-upload)
8The previous upload of this lesson on my channel froze around 2/3rds of the way through the video, so this is the complete version. Sorry about that. :)
This lesson looks at the account of Jesus meeting the woman at the well in John 4:3-30. Jesus' conversation with the woman lead to her salvation, and many things can be learned from this account on how we can be more effective when sharing the gospel with others.
There was no outline for this lesson, but here are the main points that were covered.
Template of Jesus' conversation with the woman at the well
1. Jesus initiated the conversation.
2. Jesus made an claim that sparked her interest.
3. Jesus brought up eternal life.
4. Jesus did not excuse her sin, but was kind when he addressed it.
5. Jesus said that God is more interested in a relationship than religion.
6. Jesus presented Himself as the Savior.
This is not the only way to witness to people, but the kind and loving approach is always more effective.
