This is a lesson that I got to teach to my church's youth group yesterday.

Here's the outline for it. :)

PSALM 1

Psalm 1:6
"For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the
ungodly shall perish."

1. BLESSED IS THE MAN...
A. WHO ABSTAINS FROM SIN (v. 1)
B. WHO STUDIES GOD’S WORD (v. 2)

2. THE UNGODLY ARE NOT SO...
A. THEY ARE FICKLE AND WAVERING (v. 4)
B. THEY HAVE NO FOUNDATION OR PLACE AMONG THE
RIGHTEOUS (v. 5)

3. CONTRASTING THE GODLY AND THE UNGODLY
A. THE GODLY MAN’S WAY IS BLESSED AND DIRECTED BY THE
LORD (v. 3, 6a)
B. THE UNGODLY MAN’S WAY IS UNCERTAIN AND LEADS TO
DEATH (v. 4, 6b)

Luke 5:31-32
“... They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.
I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
