India was in great trouble on board one of the match between India vs Russia. Vishy Anand was outprepared by Nepomniactchi and had great difficulties in his game. Somehow Vishy managed to wriggle out of the mess and drew the game. Vidit was super solid on board three and drew against Vitiugov, while Harikrishna made sure that the big Vlad didn't get things going his way. It was all locked at 1.5-1.5 and the hopes of both the nations were on Adhiban and Jakovenko. Adhiban tried his best but in the end the game finished in a draw. India vs Russia thus ended in a well-fought 2-2 draw.
