A to Z Steam Library Play through #2 - Alien Breed Impact, Repetition Galore.
3This is the second in the order of videogames in my steam library. A blast from the past I am certain for most since this is a 9 year old game. I am sure this would have been decent back then but unfortunately it does not hold up to the present.
Repetitive quests make the gameplay entirely boring. The typical press this switch, unlock that door, kill all enemies, rinse and repeat is the essential backbone of the progression system. This reminded me of Play Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop, although that game came out 3 years later and is actually still active with updates, although the player base is almost dead.
I think the visuals were great for the time. I am surprised to find out this game is from the same developers of Hell Let Loose, overcooked 1 and 2 and the escapists 1 and 2. It is made from a developer that is respected by the community and they are still clearly very active in developing games.
