A Tribute to Sammy.
8You have been a great guinea pig over the years, Sammy. We will miss you.
Sammy was originally from our neighbours, who was called "Survivor Samoa" as he was really black and he survived being the runt of the litter. When we came over to babysit him one time, the neighbours had a reputation of getting their guinea pigs killed by cats, possums or even heat. So we adopted him and saved him from the inevitable death of being hunted down.
He was really scared and timid when we first got him, but after we helped with the trauma of all his brothers dying because of a cat, he became quite the alpha. Soon afterwards we gradually introduced him to Chester and Curry.
Since then he has been in some videos and now he has passed away at the age of 4, in our warm and comfortable home during the winter.
