This is a brand new "A Trip Down Memory Lane" video series dedicated to exceptional video games that I always end up re-visiting. Starting with one of the greatest video games of all time... Resident Evil 4. Originally released in 2005 on the Gamecube, Resident Evil 4 has been a critical darling ever since, and is still found on top video game lists to this day. Despite its limitations and outdated control scheme, it has aged unbelievably well. As time went on, the reception has slowly changed. Having gained quite the bad reputation for being "the downfall of survival horror" over the past few years. A reputation which, IMO, isn't justified.
An in-depth guide/playthrough with commentary about the level design, pacing, graphical fidelity, art style, gameplay mechanics, cinematography, story, comparisons to other Resident Evil titles, survival horror/action horror genres, useful tips and tricks for professional difficulty, boss strategies, and at points - even discussing a wishlist for a potential RE4 remake.
