We, a bunch of friends, went to the Silver Falls (Silverfallen) to take some pictures and have a picnic. I had gotten my motorcycle license three weeks earlier so I was keen on taking a ride to an actual destination. I'm got to follow their cars because I actually had no idea how we would get there!

The camera was mounted on my helmet with the original Motorsports suction cup. I had aligned the camera vertically so it filmed in portrait mode, an experiment to see if it would generate interesting material.

As the rig was not symmetrical the wind drag wasn't either, so I had a quite stiff neck on one side the day after, and placing the camera in the wind drag above the helmet caused fairly annoying turbulence. If I turned my head sideways I could hear a whistling noise which distracted me at first :P I'm probably not mounting it like this again!

And I will look into how to record good sound, where to place a separate sound recorder... Previously I have mostly used a chest mount which generates very usable sound due to the camera being shielded from most wind.
