A tunnel is drilled along the diameter of the earth.
A particle executes S.H.M. in this tunnel and another particle performs uniform circular motion along the-orbit near earth's surface. The two particles start their journey simultaneously from one end of the tunnel.
(1) They will reach the other end of tunnel simultaneously
(2) when the particle reaches the other end of the tunnel, the first particle will cover one fourth of the circle
