[A Visual Novelty First-Time Playthrough]

This is what Castor was cooking apparently!!! That's a lot to just dump on me out of the blue!!! My heart can't take it!! My sanity can't take it!!! Prepare to see me crumble in the remaining two videos and go full on Salt Don!!

Don't get me wrong on its own this scene is honestly rather compelling with how it uses the game mechanics to introduce this plot point. It's just another point that smacks me in the face out of nowhere, though!

Someone who's familiar with the competition this was made for: Was a condition of this competition that it was 1 investigation, 1 trial? If so, that would explain things. They had a plot and were forced to cram it into one day. The only other thing I can think of is that the time constraints of the competition meant they had to cut the middle ground of everything and rush to get their plot in by the deadline...
