#lordsofthefallen2023 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S) A very long video essay and critique of Everything Wrong with Lords of the Fallen, the new Souls like game from Hexworks and CI. A game that takes inspiration from Souls, Bloodborne and Elden ring but fails due to number of enemies, a frustrating checkpoint system, lack of weapon diversity and balancing magic. I hope this explains some of the wild differenes between reviews from IGN giving it an 8 to Gamespot giving it a 5, and the mixed player reception on Steam. This is not a bad game, but it isn't great either.

Disclaimer: I recieved a Review Copy from Hexworks and CI Games via Lurkit.
