In Episode 6 of the Syndrome full playthrough we need to visit Deck 6 and check out some crew quarter. Of course, first we need to get past the Drone guarding the door to the elevator on Deck 6. Syndrome is a first-person indie horror game set in space. In this first episode of let's play Syndrome, we wake up on a seemingly empty ship, get contacted by Naomi, and restore power. So come and let’s play Syndrome blind!

Since it’s October, I thought we could play something a little spookier than usual, so I hope you will join me for this Syndrome blind playthough. In Episode 1 of the Syndrome playthrough, I wake up with no real memory of what happened on the ship. After closing the blast shutters, I am contacted by Naomi (who is trapped) and informed that something terrible has happened on the ship. The next task is to restore power, something that isn’t too easy when there are dead bodies hanging from the ceiling. Syndrome is a fascinating, spooky game dripping with atmosphere. Episode 2 of let’s play Syndrome blind, has us trying to reach the engine room in order to move the ship. When the pathway is blocked, Jimmy suggests that we find a way around the blockage by retrieving a special tool from Deck 4. Unfortunately, Deck 4 houses at least one monster that spots us working the security camera and starts hunting us down (I’m sure). Episode 2 of the Syndrome full playthrough starts ratcheting up the tension by diverting us one deck below and right into the habitat of something that seems less than human, yet aware of our presence. In Episode 3 of let’s play Syndrome blind things get serious when we get our first glimpse of what happened to the crew. For now, though, our presence on the ship hasn’t been noticed. Episode 4 of let’s play Syndrome blind puts us face to tentacle-face with not one Drone, but four! Nothing a few whacks from the space crowbar won’t fix! (Actually, I just end up running away in abject terror.) I can’t wait to see what else happens in my Syndrome full playthrough as I continue to explore the ship and experience more Syndrome gameplay! Episode 5 of let’s play Syndrome involves a lot of dark corridors, at least four horribly mutated crewmembers, and one severed hand. Fun times, right?

This series will focus on a full, blind playthrough of Syndrome in a way that tries to explore everything and find every bit of lore scattered around the game. In a word, this Syndrome blind walkthrough series will try to really find out what happened in this alternate timeline, what happened on the ship, and what really happened to the crew that is, for the most part, apparently dead. That, and it’ll also likely serve as a Syndrome review or at least as a showcase of my first impressions of the game. So come and let’s play Syndrome blind!

Syndrome is a newly released indie horror game that takes place on an all-but abandoned ship. You awaken without any memory of what happened, remembering only your name. Pretty soon, Syndrome introduced you to the other surviving crew members (Naomi and James/Jimmy). Then, the "horror" element comes up in the Syndrome gameplay, with the introduction of dead bodies, hanging corpses, and atmosphering sound design. I can't wait for this Syndrome blind playthrough so that I can experience more of what this indie horror game has to offer.

Afterwork Gaming ("Tonight, we game!") was created so that I can share interesting games with you all via playthroughs, walkthroughs, and guides. The Turing Test is just the kind of game that I really want to Let's Play blind so that everyone can enjoy the full playthrough.
