POLLEN is a first-person exploration and adventure game set on Saturn’s moon Titan. The game is by Mindfield Games and was developed for both the PC and VR. It’s atmospheric, beautiful, and extremely immersive. I’m looking forward to exploring POLLEN (stylized as P.O.L.L.E.N). Thus far, it has not disappointed me and I am really looking forward to the POLLEN full playthrough that's starting up. Hope you’re ready for another romp in the retro future! Come and let's play POLLEN with me!
In Episode 1 of let's play POLLEN blind, we get a job with RAMA Industries (reference to Arthur C. Clarke, no doubt), and get shipped to Research Base Titan M at Kraken Mare, Titan. Turns out that we shouldn’t be there, at least that’s how it seems after we encounter an odd Entity, a storm, charred remains of the crew, and mysterious tape recordings of the only survivor (Karen Kowalski). Episode 2 of let’s play P.O.L.L.E.N blind find us in the Hydroponics section, looking over Karen’s possessions and learning more about what happened on Titan. Looks like the Study is next! Watch my POLLEN walkthrough as I explore the Titan base and try to determine just what happened. Episode 3 of let’s play POLLEN has us reading every scrap of lore in the Crew Quarters and then rewiring the door to the study. After we get back to February 1995, we find more key cards and a sweet music tape to play us out! POLLEN is extremely intriguing, and I cannot wait to keep pushing through and uncovering more of the story (and the base). At least, these are my POLLEN first impressions. I cannot wait to experience more POLLEN gameplay and can't wait to continue my let's play POLLEN series. Episode 4 of let’s play p.o.l.l.e.n focuses on lore and background information as we read through the microfiche articles and ransack Ion Lem’s, Philip Pohl’s, and Karen Kowalski’s quarters. Episode 5 of let’s play pollen, we check out Hydroponics in February 1995 and find a way into the Research Lab (which requires us to dry the floor for the Vacuum Sucks achievement). Episode 6 of let's play P.O.L.L.E.N has us exploring the research lab, restarting the reactor, and playing with a gravity beam!

P•O•L•L•E•N is a first person mystery exploration game set on the Saturn’s moon, Titan.
February 2, 1995 – Research Base M, Kraken Mare, Titan.
As a reserve employee of RAMA, you are sent to the windswept surface of Titan to investigate.
P•O•L•L•E•N puts the player in the role of a space mechanic in a fully interactive, puzzle filled experience. In a world inspired by science-fiction classics Solaris, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Moon, as well as adventure games Gone Home and The Dig.
P.O.L.L.E.N will be released for PC in spring 2016 with optimization for virtual reality headsets. Our first priority was to make a great story-exploration game, but support for head-mounted displays has been an important feature since the concept phase.
P.O.L.L.E.N’s script is written by two authors and the storytelling mechanics have been influenced by the work of directors such as Andrei Tarkovsky and Stanley Kubrick.
Key Features
UNIQUE SOUNDSCAPE
The sounds of Station M also have a story to tell. Listen closely to the atmospheric audio while exploring the deserted halls of RAMA’s 13th moon base. P.O.L.L.E.N’s real time binaural soundscape has been designed to let you perceive audio in the most natural way, as human ears hear it.
