In this series I will be picking a game out of my physical collection starting with each letter of the alphabet, talking about the game and maybe some games that didn't make the cut and doing a game play.
So for our next video and of course the letter 'E' I didn't have much choice with only having a single game starting with the letter, but fortunate that it is a game heavily inspired by another arcade favourite in Battlezone.
My copy of Encounter! is one of the many tape based titles I have for the Atari 8-bits, but unfortunately I do not have a working tape recorder. So to play this I had to do some work on setting up my Atarimax Compact Flash cartridge and in the end had to swap Atari 8-bit machines due to some compatibility issues.
Was a good exercise regardless, as I now have my Atarimax and recording setup ready for the rest of this series.
