It seems that the AAA games industry is reinventing the wheel. But this time, every turn costs money. Where we used to have shareware, we now have unfinished $60 games we have to pay to complete, and where we had cheat codes, we now have upgrades hidden in loot boxes. Everything is geared towards making more money and I for one am sick of it.
