This is how I feel about YouTube at present. Everything they do tells me they hate small creators and they want rid of us. This may not be the case but their lack of communication and their policies as regards monetisation/demonetisation don't fill me with confidence for the future of the platform. At least for us small guys.

In a couple of ironic twists, this video was demonetised. And then, after two days uploading three edited versions in an attempt to make it YouTube friendly, it was miraculously re-monetised. I did request a manual review, but the video in no way qualified for that (not having the requisit 10,000 views), so, as ever with YouTube, I'm in the dark.

Being a Youtube creator really is like being a mushroom at times. You know: Kept in the dark and fed on ....
