And yes, I think this trend of remakes and remasters is a bit bad for the gaming industry as such. On the one hand, I love getting older games that are more accessible now like Resident Evil 2 (and I actually liked RE3 as well) and Spyro was nice, but releasing Skyrim 17 times and GTA V at least 3 times feels a bit icky. That's the same with The Last of Us.

I think AAA games cost so much that they just are not able to come up with anything new anymore, they are sort of paralyzed because no one wants to lose their job (and their profits) and that's why we get Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1, 2, 100 and Assassins Creed universe.

But good thing there is AA industry. Games like Sifu, Neon White, and Steel Rising have been fantastic this year.
