Bout presents: ABC Monday Night Football (Intro)

ABC Monday Night Football (ABC Mande Naito Futtoboru) is an American football video game named after the television broadcast of the same name. It was licensed by ABC Sports, but did not obtain an NFL or NFLPA license, and as such contains made-up teams, such as the Indianapolis Rays and the Miami Sharks, although their colors mimicked their real life counterparts.

ABC Monday Night Football is a professional football game from Data East. The game uses a vertical perspective of the field, placing the goals on the far and near sides of the screen. The SNES version used Mode 7 to display a sense of depth, but the original versions would simply scroll the screen as the ball moved up or down the field. The game is licensed by ABC to use its namesake program, but not by the NFL or NFLPA; subsequently, all the teams have fake names.

28 prime-time teams with their own personality and field prowess–relive the action with instant replay. Monitor player stats and save them with the "Super Save Stats" feature. The only thing we left out is the cooler of Gatorade. Hard hitting graphics and play-by-play sound bring every grunt and groan to life. Chalkboards of pro-designed offensive and defensive plays. "Super Play" mode zooms in to a close-up of the action.
