About Let's Playing And My Opinion On What ContentID Is Really About
PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION. It has a lot of good links and stuff. Educate yourselves!
ALSO, IMPORTANT THING I DIDN'T EXPRESS ENOUGH. DO NOT DISPUTE A VIDEO MORE THAN ONCE. If a dispute is denied, it means the company intended the claim and pursuing it further will likely result in a strike.
DISCLAIMER: A lot of these views are my OPINIONS. They are not facts, but they are also what I believe is the intention of what's happening lately and why people should stop panicing. And I mean no ill will towards anyone who does day one LPing. I am against the concept of one, not the people who do them.
An important part of this that I didn't mention in the video (because I learned the details after recording this) is that before this, all monetized videos were immune to YouTube's automated systems, as YouTube trusted partners. A major lawsuit happened because people discovered that monetized users were breaking copyright. Thus, things got more strict, and perhaps for the better. Partner companies should not have had THAT much protective power.
