This was a nice game, I did not stop, I went all the way to the end :) Really NicE sci-fi Action game :)

That checkpoint sound did remind me of some sound I have hurd in some other game, but all the time I played I could not understand what it was. Now I remember the sound. It comes from that old Nes game Shadowgate, in that game there is a very similar sound when you move from one room to another. Look at this video
