Abyss 2.4 - Buy One, Get One Free Edition
0Yep, that's the guy from the funeral parlor. The previous time his banner was up, back in 1.5, I thought Ganyu Freeze team would be able to handle anything, so I didn't push to make a Melt Ganyu team. And now we're in Inazuma, how the times change. This time, we've enlisted his help to field the legendary "Armored Cocogoat".
It took me a while to get used to this new team. I think it's pretty close to the double-Electro I was running in the First Half last time. I think it's a bit harder to do Chamber 1 fast with Melt Ganyu because of Burst cycles; one Pyronado isn't quite enough to get me to the 2nd phase, and using Guoba only for Melt can make us stall on a first phase a while longer. 2nd Chamber was easier with Melt Ganyu since I don't have to worry about dodging or not having the shield at the right moment. 3rd Chamber seems pretty close with both teams, but the shield made it a bit more comfy to clear with Ganyu.
On the other side is Hu Tao?! I tried her again since my other attempts to get through the whole 2nd half with the same team weren't working out. It turns out I had some decent Shimenawa pieces because I farmed Emblem of Severed Fate a lot. So, I replaced Crimson Witch with that. This might be the first time Hu Tao has done something in Abyss my other teams could not! The combination of Lector and Herald makes this cycle quite special.
In the future, I'd like to put in some more Crit Rate, and move Elemental Mastery to substats so I can give Hu Tao an HP% Sands again.
