Abyss is the final boss of Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and there is no legitimate way to play as him. To use it, a boss hack for the Playstation 2 version was required, made by Juan_Pablo_81. More information is contained in README.TXT:
This characters are meant to be unplayable, like not fully controllable by commands or gameplay.
It will crash the game very often... Also do not turn Abyss's COMMAND LIST option ON, otherwise the game will crash.
It's still can be played without crashes but only by taking some cautions.

This is another game from the partnership between Marvel and Capcom for fighting games that bring together their characters. The fights are in Tag Team 3v3 mode, fast, and was most successful Marvel vs. Capcom game of the 2D era. It was also ported to Playstation 2, Dreamcast, Xbox, XBox 360, Playstation 3, iOS, and recently to PC, Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics.
