Great to get back to this backlog game. Last time I played about 4 1/2 years ago, so had to look up and relearn all the controls and mechanics. A few of the main things were : Restocking ammo (travel back past the dotted line on the map to restock), Locking on (hit Y to lock on, then hit B to fire the missle), Changing weapons (hit select to change special weapons. Some of the other shit I was familiar with from when I beat Ace Combat 7 a while back. Hitting locked on targets effectively, is another thing all together. Its also unclear what to destroy to disable to bigger vehicles quicker. Holding up on the Dpad to use the special move seems super effective to take out targets, and it recharges on a meter at the bottom. Tapping up will target enemies for your allies or wingman (not sure which). Writing this down here to refresh my memory , if I end up coming back to this after another long break.
