Street Fighter Zero 3 1 CC Arcade Tutorial With Commentary (EASY METHODS)
Around 2 hours 37 minutes to get the 1 CC run (no continues used). The game took around 1 hour 53 minutes to beat the first time, and an additional 44 minutes for the 1 CC. You are forced to restart the game if you switch characters or die to the final boss, so it took several full runs of the game to break through on both playthroughs. No save state practice is available on this emulator either, so that prolongs things. I threw this into my speedrun playlist as the run ends up being pretty quick with Ehonda and not continuing. The goal was just a 1 CC, and I only know 2 of Ehonda's moves and only use 2 buttons (fierce punch, fierce kick). In this tutorial I break down the strats I used.
While E Honda was nerfed for the Zero/Alpha series, he is still extremely effective with these strats. I show both defensive and aggressive versions of my strats, along with subtle variances depending on the opponent and how a round is going. These strategies also apply to just about every Street Fighter game that features E. Honda. Its one of the main strats Ive used to clear out the series and add it to the KILL list. Especially when blazing through multiple ports of the same game on other consoles or arcade. I am always going straight for the kill, so once I find effective strats I keep it simple. With fighting games the AI is often cheap and set up to fuck you over. Most of the time its simple moves that exploit the AI the most. Its much different then fighting human opponents. There is usually extra invincibility frames and rules that the AI bypasses to beat the player.
