Welcome back to my channel, dear gamers. As you may know, Ace Combat series is still going strong on the channel. However, with the PS2 trilogy completed, our journey started back in January is slowly approaching its end as i lead you into the series' portable entries. First of such entries which will be played on the channel is Ace Combat X: Skies Of Deception so sit back, relax and enjoy the gameplay.

About Game: Ace Combat X: Skies Of Deception is 2006 combat flight simulator video game with arcade elements developed by Access Games and published by Bandai Namco as PlayStation Portable exclusive. It is eighth game in the mainline Ace Combat series, serving as a chronological sequel to 2019's Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown and a prequel to 1999's Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere, thus being the penultimate game in the main series. It is the second entry in the series to be released exclusively on portable gaming device and the first one to be released on PSP. Upon release, Ace Combat X was met with generally positive critical reception. In 2009, this game received a direct prequel released exclusively for IOS devices, Ace Combat XI: Skies Of Incursion.

Story of the game is set over the course of two months between October and December 2020 and follows two parallel stories set during Aurelian War, a war which has errupted on the southern tip of Osean Continent after Democratic Republic Of Leasath suddenly attacked and invaded neighbouring Federal Republic Of Aurelia for seemingly no reason. Through the combination of their large army, element of surprise against Aurelians and advanced weapons, most impressive of which is a flying fortress known as Gleipnir, Leasathians are able to occupy 95 percent of Aurelia within only ten days. Primary story follows Gryphus 1, Aurelian ace pilot who is one of the members of Aurelian military who ended up pushed to the country's last line of defense in Aubrey AFB while the second story follows Albert Genette, Osean journalist who covered Circum-Pacific War between Osea and Yuktobania a decade prior and is now stationed in Aurelia, covering Leasath's occupation of the country while also trying to uncover the real motives behind it.

With Aurelian resistance seemingly at the end of its rope, Leasath sends a bomber squadron to Aubrey in order to destroy last remanants of Aurelian resistance with Gryphus Squadron led by Gryphus 1 being sent out to intercept and shoot down the bombers and their escorts. However, as they do, Gleipnir enters the airspace over Aubrey and fires a ballistic missile which shoots down and kills most of Gryphus Squadron...
