Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War Walkthrough Part 18: Zero (FINAL MISSION & ENDING)
0Now all alone, Cipher engages Pixy, who is piloting a state-of-the-art prototype fighter jet codenamed Morgan, in a one-on-one dogfight during which it is revealed that Pixy's plane controls a secondary launch mechanism for V2 warhead in Avalon Dam with Pixy himself revealing that A World With No Boundaries intends to launch V2 in order to cause a nuclear armaggedon which would destroy the concept of countries and borders altogether, apparently stopping the root cause of all wars; Nationalism perpetrated by the existence of borders and nations with their actions being provoked by the on-going political squabbles over Belkan natural resources for which organization's leadership believes will eventually cause another war on the Osean continent. As their duel progresses, Pixy activates the launch sequence for V2 and activates an ECM defense on his plane, preventing Cipher from damaging it further. Despite this, Cipher is able to destroy Morgan by attacking it head-on, successfully shooting it down and terminating V2's launch sequence.
In October 2005, Brett Thompson continues with his interviews of the former aces of the Belkan War, travelling to Gran Rugido, Sapin in order to interview Marcela Vasquez, ex-member of Espada Team who was shot down over Waldreich Mountains in December 1995, becoming the team's only survivor as her flight lead was killed during the engagement with Galm Team. After A World With No Boundaries ceased to exist, she left the airforce and switched careers, becoming a professional dancer.
Later in October, Thompson returns to Oured, Osea in order to track down and interview Anthony Palmer, ex-leader of Sorcerer Squadron who was shot down during the fight with Galm Team in Airspace B7R in December 1995. Despite being one of the founding members of A World With No Boundaries, alongside another Osean pilot named Joshua Bristow and Belkan pilot named Anton Kupchenko, Palmer was able to escape direct prosecution for his terrorist activities and find employment as an insurance agent.
By November, Thompson tracks down his final target; Larry "Solo Wing Pixy" Foulke, Belkan mercenary and ex-member of Galm Team who defected to A World With No Boundaries in June 1995 before being shot down during a duel with his former flight lead over Avalon Dam six months later. Having survived the fight, Foulke quit flying and instead joined Independent States' Allied Forces as a soldier, currently being stationed in the war-torn Usean continent. As his interview with Thompson draws to a close, Foulke, believing that Cipher, who vanished after the events of Avalon Dam, may see the recording of the interview, greets his former flight lead and thanks him.
