With Valahia effectively eliminated after the events in Central Asia, Antares Squadron refocuses its efforts to fighting Golden Axe Plan before it can be enacted. To that end, they cut their ties to IUPF due to the organization's connection with Andre Olivieri and relocate back to Midway Islands, intending to link up with Martinez Security's ground troops on the US' West Coast in order to fight Golden Axe mercenaries more effectively. However, as the squadron is briefed on the plan of the relocation to the US' mainland, Midway is attacked by Golden Axe's air force, forcing Antares 1 to defend the base.

Meanwhile, Golden Axe starts to put its plan in motion, intending to attack San Francisco in order to trigger a war on American soil...
