Acer Swift X (2021) | Proper Macbook Air M1 Rival
The Acer Swift X (2021) is an upgrade over the 3X laptop, with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 or 3050Ti GPU and impressive specs for an ultraportable, worthy of video editing and even light gaming. This hands-on review runs through the main features including the AMD performance and FHD display, to see if the Acer Swift X really is a rival to that M1 Macbook Air.
At under £1000, this skinny 14-inch notebook is certainly enticing for students and creatives who want to edit video or occasionally get some gaming on the go. You've got a choice of AMD Ryzen 7 5800U or AMD Ryzen 5 5600U. You can also choose between an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 or 3050Ti, which is great if you want to perform heavier creative tasks or play some games. That said, I'll be testing the Swift X 2021's ability to stay cool in my full review, as well as benchmarking this ultraportable laptop.
