Unboxing the week's big tech news, including the Poco M3 Pro 5G launch and Google IO 2021, which revealed the fresh Android 12 design and a much-needed Wear OS upgrade courtesy of Samsung.

The only proper phone news this week was that Poco M3 Pro 5G, which serves up a 90Hz screen, Dimensity 700 chipset and 5000mAh battery. Not to mention a oh-god-my-eyes bright yellow design. I'll be reviewing this smart little budget phone soon but it looks very similar to the Redmi Note 10 5G which already launched out in Asia (and I'll be covering that one very soon also).

Google IO 2021 was a big one too, with Android 12's material design announced. We saw updates to privacy and security, plus Google also revealed its Wear OS plans. Here's hoping that Samsung partnerships bears some delicious fruit.
