Achondrite (Extreme Demon) by Stormfly (& more!) - Geometry Dash
34June 14th, 2017, I beat my hardest demon, Galatic Fragility. Fast forward two years and here we are. An extreme demon. It's about time. GG!
So, anyway, to talk about the level:
- First cube is rough, and definitely walled me when I first started. The quadruple spike at the end felt frame perfect, if not very close.
- The 15% wave took a while to get used to, but really isn't that hard. Just takes decent control.
- 22%-42% is a somewhat easier stretch, but it begins with some decently hard timings (including that sketchy UFO to start with). The 2nd half of that part is a little easier than it looks.
- 43% is where things get interesting. This little section contains many MANY dumb ways to die. The 48% red orb is really tricky to hit.
- 52% was the hardest part of the level for me. I went on a couple stretches of 8+ straight deaths without progressing there. Those ships are just not 60hz friendly.
- The rest of the level is memo within a hard demon. A few problematic spots were 70% (super tight black orb) and 83% (rough ship transition). Of course, the last 10% is rough as well.
To end this all off, this is a beautiful level. It may be a tad bit annoying at parts, but you guys did an amazing job on this :)
