We start up a series of Across the Obelisk. While I could just go about doing something special here and starting from scratch, I just want to have fun with this series and stomp on some mooks here and there with some strategy, a type of style I rarely get to flex!
For this stream, we tried to finish our Madness Tier 3 run, but ultimately ended up failing this time again. The main reason was that we were not doing enough damage output and the enemies kept killing us at a far faster rate then we would have wanted to happen. Due to this, we were forced to end our run on Act 4, somewhere I seem to struggle on for a lot of our attempts, and was forced to face the darkness as it were, dying to a Cryo mage of sorts. All in all, it was a fun run, but sadly that just shows the weaknesses of poison, despite how strong it can be shown to be. Next run, we are going to be focusing on instant-effect types of damage like Fire, Bleed and other such useful abilities. I may even put some points to HP for the sake of survivability, as I found my group dying a lot faster then usual. Perhaps next run we will finally break out of the stalemate? Guess we will have to wait and find out!
