0I want to preface this by letting you all know that these pieces are one takes, not written before shooting, and are my honest and sometimes contextualized thoughts on the title substatement.
The context for this piece is Brad Pitt's monologue in Babylon where he addresses the comment of film not being high art, along with my perspective on being subservient to the art form itself.
One of Konstantin Stanislavski's most impactful quotes about my life and practice of art is:
“Love the art in yourself, not yourself in the art.”
This changed the way I viewed my connection to acting forever and it is the core sentiment out of which my acting style and approach have evolved.
