Betta Water, it does what it needs to do
If you love bettas but are impatient to allow 6-8 weeks to accumulate for a new fish tank Betta Water is for you. It eliminates the need to cycle the tank and allows instant addition of a fish to a new tank. Sure, it is not needed. But if your budget allows for it, go for it. You do not need to keep buying it for every water change. The price for it is definitely outrageous. But to get the betta you fell in love with and was able to bring it home out of that horrid plastic cup it's worth the initial investment. The nitrogen cycle is very important for a new tank, do not forget this if you're getting any pet fish. This does help for fish lovers who are impatient. It does work but it's at a cost.
