I really like this level for some reason. I take the shortcut about halfway through because not only is it faster (maybe), but it also saves me from dealing with annoying ghosts and the death jump. I also get lucky enough to manipulate the gargoyle into an infinite. That isn't typical.

The boss of this level is very annoying. The best pattern I can do is hitting him with the magic fireballs and then two flying stabs. That will generally do 5 balls of damage. From there it gets tricky though since I no longer have the high ground for another magic + stab combo, so I just kind of wing it. I'll eventually find a nice consistent way to do this.
