As a follow up to the previous video showing how to add an external antenna to the Pi Zero W, this video explores what you would need to add an external antenna to other Pi versions including the Pi 3 and Pi 4 series. These modifications should work for all subversions (Pi 3B, 3A+, 3B+, 4B all models). For the Pi 1 (all models) and the Pi 2, your best bet is to get a USB wifi card with support for an external antenna since neither of those include an onboard wifi chip.

Update:
I have some Pi Zero W and Pi 4 boards with the modification already done if you don't want to do it yourself. They are available here (until I run out):
Pi Zero W - https://www.ebay.com/itm/114773309557
Pi 4 - https://www.ebay.com/itm/114773307539

If you already have a Pi and want it modified, check out the service here: https://funandtech.etsy.com
