1) Open Instagram and login to your account
2) On the top right, tap on the menu bar
3) Select Settings at the bottom of the screen
4) In the search box, type in Story and go to the Story Settings
5) Tap on Allow Sharing to Stories and make sure it is actually checked
6) The next thing is simply that the account is private and that is why you are not able to share the post on your story.
