Skill Based Matchmaking, or SBMM is a very controversial topic in Advanced Warfare. Many members of the CoD community feel that it unfairly penalizes players by decreasing connection quality, and by forcing players to play hard every single game. The problem is, that nobody knows how SBMM works. Literally nobody that isn't a developer knows. Casual observations are no more useful than bigfoot sightings. So for this video I spent three days collecting hard data about SBMM and its effect on your skill matchups / connections. It was done by asking 20 random people to post screenshots of 3 random lobbies each and their stats on this Reddit thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/CodAW/comments/2skfe1/want_to_help_me_test_sbmm_im_compiling_data/

Then, I manually entered all of the stats of their opponents into a spreadsheet. The stats were grabbed from this website: http://www.codcp.com/

Afterwards, I was able to make a scatter graph of several different variables. If you have the free time, I would highly encourage you to try this experiment yourself and see if you are able to repeat my results. If so, then are making science happen!
