Welcome to the pilot episode of our Feed the Beast Let's Play!

Thursday night (US time) we streamed a bit to get a feel for what everyone thought of Episode #001. You could have seen it here: http://www.twitch.tv/aaron215/b/353810434 but Twitch deleted them.. I couldn't find a way to get them back, so they are lost forever.. Sorry :-(

This is meant to be a HEAVY PARTICIPATION Let's Play. That's why I'm calling it Adventures WITH Aaron :-) Please comment, participate in the streams (I hope to do one a week at http://www.twitch.tv/Aaron215 ), and have fun with everyone!

I plan to release an episode every Thursday, but you know how my plans usually go :-P I'm going to work hard to stick to it though.

So this was actually recorded and uploaded a while back to just see if it was what I wanted to do. This episode was recorded on the FTB Beta A pack, and after uploading it I found out that the Ultimate Pack was thought to be released very soon, so I held off from publishing... Turns out that information was wrong and it may be a while.

I see a lot of servers popping up saying they're going to "Update" from MindCrack to Ultimate, which should be fine as long as there are not any new mods added that have worldgen... But if they do I can just move along and generate new chunks, right?

That's what we're doing here. I've loaded a lot of chunks already just collecting stuff, but we'll just move on when we are in old chunks, or I'll just edit this world in mcedit and cut out around our base. We'll see how it works. Regardless, enjoy the first episode, and please comment! I've done some testing, working out details and I'm happy to announce that I now am able to stream and use ForgeIRC so you guys can talk to me while streaming by just typing in the Twitch.tv chat and it will pop up on my client!

It worked out pretty well, and I've since fixed the aspect ratio being off, so you can now see the whole screen!

I'll likely plan it out ahead of time and let you all know when I start a stream, but follow me on Twitch so you can get an email when I start streaming! :-) The email will be sent to you, telling you the title of the stream to give you an idea about what we will be doing.
