There are different ways to make Obsidian, in this video I will show how to do it with only AE2 and ExtraCells 2.

I got a question on Facebook to help out with a build (to make Obsidian) that was malfunctioning. After a lot of messing around, I came up with this setup. It's actually much simpler than the first designs I tried out (that didn't work well!) :)
