Super Circuit Maker - BCD Display Decoder - Theory and Build (MC 1.10.2)
A brief lecture in truth table, K-maps and Boolean expressions. Combine this with AND and OR gates and make your own custom circuits to make a (4-bit) BCD to 7-Segment Display Decoder.
If you know your digital electronics perhaps you already know everything about this, but if you've never seen this before it might be hard to understand everything. If you do want to learn I suggest checking the links further down.
Also, to understand this video fully you should probably first watch all other videos in the playlist so you recognize my methods and how to use the display for example. All SCM videos are gathered in this playlist:

Here you can import my variant of the decoder into your world:

Combine it with a compact 7-Segment display:

This build can be correlated to the information on this page:

I had finished the first part of this build some time ago, here's a screenshot of the large variant from back then:

Then I saw this thread on reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/supercircuitmaker/comments/5fx19r/bcd_to_7segment_display_decoder_09/
And it was exactly the same thing as I had done, but finalized into a nice and compact variant. So I had to do it myself as well. We had different approaches to the solutions, but the result is the same. Credit goes to Sim_Piko for pushing me to finish my build!

I can be found on both Twitter and Facebook as well, for video announcements and updates. They are also the preferred ways to send a non-video related question or comment. Sometimes I do things on Twitch as well!
