AE86 Initial D Engine Sound Mod for AE86 | BeamNG.Drive [SCRAPPED]
11This is the Initial D engine sound for the Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex 4AGE 16V engine, modded into BeamNG.Drive.
Due to the low duration of the engine/exhaust notes, it's a bit difficult to put this into the game as you require atleast 2 seconds for a good sound sample file, any less causes lower quality and sound glitching, so I simply lowered the pitch of some sounds and duplicating the audio and reversed them to extend the length, but it is much better to have samples at one engine note, for 2 seconds, without any pitch changes. I have also lowered the maximum RPM for the engine and the stock ECU and incremented the torque values in the engine jbeam to create this somewhat decent result.
A better alternative would be to use the Gran Turismo Sport engine notes.
