AeroflyFS is a highly detailed simulation of...Switzerland! It's not really a fully-featured X-Plane or FsX replacement, neither is it an X-Plane or FsX wannabe. Going over the feature set it's apparent that the developers haven't really targeted those users wanting to shoot an ILS in driving snow at two in the morning -- in an Airbus A319. No, the developer has made some hard choices and crafted a simple daydream machine, in a beatifull country..
Aerofly FS looks great! The drawbacks of only one set of ground textures does not alter the fact that as a day VFR simulator, Aerofly FS is one of the best looking simulators out there, it is very easy on the resources. Frame rates are very good! Aerofly FS actually has a warning when the FPS drops below 24.
AeroflyFS is also in many other aspects quite special, as it combines easy and intuitive program operation with perfect flight physic simulation. The makers of this simulator, Dr. Torsten Hans and Dr. Marc Borchers, both PPL pilots, developed together with their team of programmers, CAD designers and experienced sport and professional pilots a simulator, which can be adapted incredibly easy to different user preferences.
Not FSX.. Not X-Plane, Nog MS Flight but just AeroflyFS, a outsider but a great game that will be even beter when there will be more updates/downloads, but for now, a great thing that looks and fly's superb.
