This time we're going out into Parque Fernando to seek out our first ever Axis Deer. These deer have a beautiful coat and an antler arrangement that almost makes them look like a miniature elk. Think along the lines of a Roe Deer body, the coat of a Whitetail fawn, and the antlers of an elk and you've got a good idea of what these relatively small deer look like. Though as we work on getting our first of these Chital (as they are also called) we might be in for quite the surprising revelation of our potential first.
