Wow this was just a test video I posted to ask for help on the gbfans forum. I didn’t expect or intend for this be shown this way! For those interested in having something like this for themselves read the IMPORTANT NOTE at the end below!
To answer a lot of your questions:
- No this is not a kit…the kits out there that has the afterlife cyclotron lights are too expensive for me so I was trying to find a more affordable solution
- this is a mash up of open sources codes out there…powercell lights from CountDeMonet and the cyclotron from CFunSeth. I have no coding experience so I paid someone on fiverr to add some more animations such as the overheat segment
My plan was to have custom Afterlife cyclotron lights for my 3D printed pack and Hasbro Spengler Wand. I wanted SOME interaction between the wand and the pack so I had plans to replace the intensify button in the wand to also trigger the pack lights to speed up and initiate an overheat sequence.
I ran into some issues around the sound effects looping smoothly so it’s been on hold for months.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I have since abandoned this project. The reason being is gpstar on GBFans forum is working on a MUCH BETTER set up than anything I can mash together. He’s releasing it for free when he’s done so I plan on using his set up instead.
For those who are interested I will be coming out with a tutorial video on his set up when he’s done. So if you are a noob at electronics don’t worry! I got you. I’ll babystep it with you along the way! If you STILL don’t feel comfortable doing it on your own I can try and put it together as a kit and sell it to you. Stay tuned!
