13This is AOE IV Late Economy. The Art of War Challenge on Gold
I decided to take the time out to start going through a list of all the challenges for Art of War in Age of Empires IV.
This strategy should help you get the gold medal or get some practice in the right direction in the Art of War Challenge: Late Economy. Age of empires has put together some unique challenges to help you learn the basics of the game and prepare you for multiplayer games.
This will task you with developing to Age IV in 10 minutes. Many PVP high-skill player games will have similar outcomes keeping you on your toes with managing micro-skills. This is a great framework to build the rhythm of late gameplay methods and development to strengthen your chance of success in AOE 4 Skirmish battles.
Start by keeping your Queue full at all times with villagers and traders. Swap to working on forest harvesting and then build your second or third lumber mill and second Town Hall. Branch out to develop your next trading post and operate on gold and stone mining progression shortly after. Prioritize some farm buildings to cover your population issues coming into the 3-4 minute mark and prep for a third trade post and 3rd town hall. Don't forget to right-click out to a forest, mine, or trade post to send them in the right direction consistently without going idle. Be sure to double-check your Queue in case you made have some empty building queues. Keep trading resources out to get what you need in food and gold and prepare to build your Age IV building to finish the mission. Don't forget to send all your villagers to create it since you no longer need to worry about resources after having what you need to construct it.
The missions can be pretty taxing but don't give up. With some practice and smoothing out some edges in time, you can have these with ease. I wanted to offer a step-by-step instructional that was easy to follow along and recreate to help other people get them completed and get any challenges out there. I know it would have been a help for me as I'm not super great at RTS games.
