I wanted to do an info-video of some choices In Camera Capture Cards and wanted to help others decide between the AVerMedia Live Gamer Cap 4k and the Elgato Camlink 4k. I have now owned both and I thought I would take some time to talk about each of them and their benefits.

I no longer use the Elgato, as it quit working for me. but it was compact and small and offered me an easy solution to hookup my camera to the computer. It was kind of bulky around other USB ports and didn't always leave me space to hook up other devices, without feeling like I was breaking the USB of the Elgato.

The AVerMedia has been nothing but a dream allowing me to connect it right off my phone to even broadcast live with only my camera and the phone. Granted that chews up data usage but it is possible and a way better alternative to a go pro. The UI for Cam Engine 4.0 Offers a great solution for bringing over your DSLR or Mirrorless camera to your broadcasting software, without the need of a tutorial.

I may do a more in depth video here soon going over the ins and outs with pros and cons. What do you guys think?
